Tibiara Client Blocked by Antivirus?

Some antivirus programs (especially Windows Defender) may falsely detect the Tibiara client as a virus (e.g. Trojan:Script/Wacatac.C!ml). This is a false positive caused by how the client is packed and updated — it is not harmful.

How to allow the client:

1. Open Windows Security → Go to Virus & threat protection → Click on Protection history
2. If the client was blocked:
   • Click on the detected threat
   • Select "Allow on device"
3. To prevent future blocks:
   • Go to Virus & threat protection settings
   • Scroll to Exclusions → Click "Add or remove exclusions"
   • Add the entire Tibiara client folder

This will let you download, extract, and run the client without issues.

A file submission has already been sent to Microsoft to resolve the false detection. The warning should disappear automatically in a future Defender update.

Always make sure to download the client from the official Tibiara website. You can also scan the file on VirusTotal.com for extra peace of mind.

IMPORTANT: Make sure you unpack the client into a new directory and do NOT replace old client files
